Jurnal Teknik Kimia is a national journal, provides a forum publishing research article from an experimental, literature review, and fieldwork in chemical engineering. The journal consists of basic or fundamental science and its application in the chemical industry. The printed version of Jurnal Teknik Kimia has been published by Chemical Engineering Department, Universitas Sriwijaya since 1996. The P-ISSN 0853-0963 registered in 2007. The articles can be accessed online since 2008 through http://jtk.unsri.ac.id/index.php/jtk. This Journal is an open-access journal that provides online publication four times a year, which is on January, April, August, and December (until Volume 23). Jurnal Teknik Kimia wishes to provide good chances for academic and industry professionals to discuss recent progress in various areas of chemical science, engineering, and its application. Jurnal Teknik Kimia has been indexed in Goggle Scholar and Garuda.
Due to technical problems in the previous OJS system and in the framework of continuous improvement, the management of Jurnal Teknik Kimia was transferred under the journal management of Engineering Faculty Universitas Sriwijaya since December, 2019. As the effect of the transition, the archieve from Volume 21 to 25 moved to this website http://ejournal.ft.unsri.ac.id/index.php/jtk. Started from Volume 24, the management decided that the publication schedule changed to three issue per volume. It will be in March, July, and November.
